As many as 131 personnel of qurban animal checkers will be spread to animal shelters in North Jakarta starting Friday (9/9) up to three days after Eid ul Fitr.

The personnel are from North Jakarta Sub-dept. of Maritime, Agriculture, and Food Tenacity (KPKP), KPKP’s technical personnel, Indonesian Veterinary Association (PHDI), and IPB students.
North Jakarta Mayor, Wahyu Haryadi, said the effort is run to give warranty for the meat that is consumable and healthy.

He added that the personnel will educate and monitor during the slaughtering and meat distribution.
“Slaughtered animal should not provide any disease because of technical failure,” he added.
